Lights, Camera, ACTION!
In August, 2008, Power Plant Productions, winner of the prestigious Telly award for their work in commercial television, began building and producing a "Community Awareness Video" for KidSense! Yep, Chief Editor Jim Land is putting us in pictures!
It all starts with a script that describes the problem statement: that special needs kids benefit from exercising in a very specific manner. The voice-over, donated very kindly by veteran actress, Ms. Millie Stouse, then proposes a solution: KidSense playgrounds and all that they entail. It reviews data from scientific studies that back up our premise, that large-scale motor sensory playgrounds increase kids' abilities to concentrate and perform better in an educational environment.
Finally, the smooth speaking Ms. Stouse describes this gorgeous playground-to-be, then moves on to the "call to action". Which, if you haven’t figured it out is: visit our website to donate via pay-pal, or email us today to see how you can help!
We are now filming, shooting, gathering and creating the elements that will bring the script to life. Much like the puzzle pieces in our logo, all these elements will be skillfully crafted together to create a compelling video presentation. We will distribute this piece to our viewers via the web, dvds, press kits, and hopefully a Public Service Announcement for TV broadcast.
So be on the lookout for our upcoming video – but please, no autographs!
